Subject:Considering Acid

I've been pleased with the results. Lately, I've been looking into samplers and have come to the conclusion that Acid would probably be the best investment. Since I am using VST, is there or would there be a big advantage using Sound Forge over VST when using Acid? I always thought Sound Forge was a finishing software, that is until I've been surfing around here and have found most people are using CD Architect for finalizing. I'm somewhat confused by the hole thing. I realize that this is a dedicated Sonic Foundry web site, so please be kind and don't bash VST too badly. I just would like to save some money for some Acid, but if VST and Acid don't work properly together, I don't see myself spending a fortune on a whole other Sequencer/recording/mixer utility. Thanks Anthony I posted this in general, I just realized maybe I should have posted this message here instead. Sorry for the double post. |
