AZ-

Make sure that the drive you're recording to (the ACID temporary storage folder) isn't filling up, and even if
it's not, you'd do well to defragment that drive. Also, check that your sound card's drivers are properly
installed by trying to record with the Windows Sound Recorder. If you have more than one soundcard, make
sure that you've got the proper one selected in Control Panel/Multimedia, in addition to ACID Pro(if that's
the flavor you're using, otherwise, other versions of ACID use the Multimedia setting). Also, if you have
more than one device you may want to try checking the Use Preferred Devices Only box.

Good luck,
Joel

Another thing to note is what kind of sound card you're using. If you've been getting by on a stock
soundcard, you may want to upgrade to something else. It doesn't have to be a pro-level, by any means,
but many of the stock cards, are quite flaky. In addition, there is a known bug concerning recording with
the Montego in ACID, where recording stops after a few seconds. I hope this helps.

Best,
Joel
