Hi, I'm a frequent ACID user, and I've just discovered a great way how to do a live p.a. with it (for those who don't know what that is, it's a method of DJing where you change elements of pre-composed music "on the fly".) My method is: you have a track with some samples of a song you've stripped apart, and you place markers on the each different part of the song (eg, Bass and Drums, Drums and 303, Bass and 303 etc.) My Problem is that you can only have 10 markers that you can switch to with the keyboard. Is there any way that you can exceed this number? Because you can only do so much with 10 variations, likesay. Also, when I switch between songs with loads a files, there is a long pause between switching. Is this a Hardrive problem? or a RAM problem? or a processing problem? Thanks, and please help me. Neil |
