Setting up sampler and synth to computer -ACID Product Family

Subject:Setting up sampler and synth to computer Posted by: triphop Date:5/23/1999 12:00:00 AM I recently purchased the sonic foundry remix set with CD Architect, Sound Forge XP and Acid Pro and love it!!!! Now, I want to hook up my AKAI MPC 2000 sampler and a synthesizer everything so that I may create my own loops. I have a midiman interface that I use with my hardware setup already. How do I hook everything up so that I may make my own loops and add stuff to the songs I already created in ACID. Also, where do I hook up a microphone for vocals???? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!
