I am editing a 3 camera shoot with v8 (multicam in v8 is brilliant!!)
On rendering to m2t the preview screen some times says "no recompression required" or something like that. When this happens, the rendered file sometimes shows breakup about 5-15 frames from the end of the shot. It is not there on the source file. (I guess that this is an I frame away)
problem can be solved by putting a dummy track effect (I used brightness & contrast) with a very small correction to force rendering.
