......this question isn't exactly about ACID. I use my PC almost totally for music, particually as a multitrack for a combination of vocals, instruments and samples (ACID is wicked for this!) but when I plug anything into the line-in in the back of my PC I can only get a signal from one speaker.I've checked the pan record and playback settings on Windows and on my sound card options. And I've checked all leads and connections. All instruments etc. are connected via a jack-plug to headphone-plug converter. I have a P400, 128RAM and a Sound Blaster Live sound card. Thanks. |

This may be a stupid question, but you didn't touch on this... Is the cable you are running to the line-in a stereo or mono cable and is the headphone-plug converter a stereo or mono converter? |
