Subject:The Acid Program

I would just like to post a general message to the actual
designers of the ACID software. If I could hug and kiss you
I would. I feel that people should be just as quick to
praise as they are to complain.

The ACID program is such an absolutely wonderful program.
From the capability to create full songs, add effects, add
vocals, route the vocals out to Sound Forge and then
incorporate them back into the song without missing a beat,
to the midi time code features, right down to the ability
to expand the view and scrub just parts of a loop to make
it end on another note. This product is just awesome. The
first week I got it, I hardly got any sleep.

I created so many songs just off of the Essential Sounds 1
group of loops that came with the package. Then I purchased
6 more. (Essential Sounds 2, Vince Andrews, Bill Laswell,
Funky Extremes II, On the Jazz Tip and Signals 1). I have
been unable to go through one day since I bought this
program without creating another song.

Then, which I find to be one of the most useful features of
ACID, I used my keyboard to create my own loops and then
used ACID to incorporate them into songs. CAN YOU SAY -
ABSOLUTELY FUNCTIONAL.

I love Sonic Foundry for this program. You guys have
created a useable, fully functional peice of software
worthy of an award.
