Subject:'BLUE-SCREEN' exception ERROR while SYNCING

i am SLAVING ACID from my (2)ROLAND VS-880's(via a ROLAND
SERIAL PORT CONNECTION)...
i've set all the settings in ACID to correspond with my
set-up---and if i press play on my MASTER VS880, the
song will sync in its entirety with no problems...
but if i stop/shuttle/and press play again my on my VS880 a
few times, i get a BLUE SCREEN EXCEPTION error...

a fatal exception 0D has occurred at 1D87:00000BCF ...etc...

i have no problems syncing my MIDI sequencers in this way..
just wondering if anyone has any idea how to REMEDY this..

my system:
P 233 MMX
32 MB RAM(my ACID tunes are generally LESS than 11MB)
WIN 95
WIN 95 ROLAND SERIAL PORT DRIVER
