Subject:Re-installation Error Message

I uninstalled Acid Pro 1.0d....and I tried reinstalling the
older version on cd-rom(version 4.0c build 167) so I can
build up to the latest updated version which is 1.0d...The
error message reads:

Unable to install software. A newer version of this
software product is already installed on your system. If
you think you must install this older version, you should
first uninstall the newer version already on your system.

I uninstalled it using Mcafee Uninstaller...All files are
deleted that I know of...What files are still in my system
that prevents me from reinstalling Acid Pro...

I uninstalled XFX 1, 2, and 3, and Acoustic Mirror and
tried to reinstall Acid but that didn't work...

Hello Oscar.

It sounds like the Mcafee Uninstaller program didn't properly remove
the Windows Registry key entries for the Acid Pro 1.0d program.

You could send our tech support staff an email by clicking on
the "Tech Support" link on the top of the message board page, or, you
