sorry if my reply offended but it was obvious the guy needed help and wasn't getting much from his peers so a quick reply wouldnt have hurt would it? i also had an unanswered question just above the previous and i and most likely others would have prefered an answer to that rather than you posting a schoolma'm like reminder about this forum . thank you once again victoria |

Victoria: No offense taken. If I answer one, then the other guy wants to know why I didn't answer his, and so on and so on. I have to draw the line somewhere. I answer questions that are 1) not in the users manual, help files, or FAQs 2) complex enough that the solution may not be obvious and the tech support would usually end up asking engineering about, 3) bug related, or 4) of interest to me and what I am working on. Answering "how to" questions is why we have tech support and two options on contacting them directly. This is how I approach my participation in the forum. It seems to work well for the most part.
