I've just installed Acid 2.0. I've recorded with my computer before with the standard Windows Sound Recorder program and the results were good. Even with an old trial version of SoundForge. What I played into it was what I got out of it. However, while just now trying to record with Acid for the first time, the playback of my snippets were horrible. It sounded like it was pit through a tremolo effect. My problem is, I need to fix it and don't know how. Any ideas or someone with the same problem? What did you do to fix it? |

After calling support for Sonic Foundry and my computer manufacturer, going through several suspected fixes and banging my head on the keyboard (remember Don Music?) I fixed my problem. After all that, I decided to re-install my sound driver. Presto! Good sound. Props to the support I received from Sonic Foundry. Although not actually ever solving the problem, the rep I got was as friendly as they come. Michael Sullivan wrote: >>I've just installed Acid 2.0.
