i can not figure out why my recordings are coming out sounding sped up! What did i do? i'm using soun forge 7 well now 7b. I've been having this problem for awhile. Every recording comes out like this- I'm spinnin at 130 bpms and when all said and done, i lisen to it and it sound like 135-140 bpms! why?

Make sure you've configured your sound card correctly.

A file recorded at 44,100 Hz sample rate and then played back as if the sample rate is 48,000 Hz will have about the amount of speed up you are experiencing (44100/48000 is ~ 130/140).
