Subject:WHY IS THIS HAPPENING????!!!!!!

Ok here is a puzzle for all you acidizers!!!:
I have tryied to install DIRECT MEDIA in order to obtain
all the effects on a track. Now I went and downloaded
Direct Media 6.0 and its update from Microsoft. But
whetever I do its not working! (this HAS worked on another
computer that I do not have anymore). Direct Media is
working FINE because I test it with DX diagnose ( a small
program tha goes with direct 6.)
Can I configure this manually somehow? Maybe transfer some
files? Maybe change something in the registry? I know my
way around computers but this thing is really strange!

What filters/FX do you have installed? Do you see them in the FX
chooser on the FX tab?

What version of ACID?
