Vegas pro (or at least the pre relese beta that i turned my
clock back for a few weeks :) is nothing short of infrickin
credible. Most notably the cosine crossfade feature that
defys the critical ear!! At last, i dont have to be a star
player! i can shorten any thing and (with not as much
success) lengthen tails, breaths and just make stuff that
wasn't there before out of what was. Bottom line: New
mastery over the 4th dimention, also pitching any small
part of a track a cent tone or 2 non destruc like, 4 gain
paramaters to get any thing on any track to play at any
volume without ruining the developement of everything else
on that track

ONE THING id love to see is:
when i move files around on hard drives i hate re
associating locations of files
i think Logic searches your hard drives for the missing
files that would be bitchen

IF acid had just one slight advancement added to its "one
shot mode" (the ability to splice and cross fade) Id find
another 5 grand to invest.
Ps sorry SONIC i dont have enough liquid monies to buy
vegas yet!!! I invested every thing in your stock (and
right now i'm taking a beating) @$108 p/s but as long as
your alliances and board members dont force you to trade
your art of innovation for marketing scams like "2.0!!!"
ill be a winner with you
