Why can't acid recognize MP3 files as loops? Its very annoying having to batch converted TONS of .mp3s to wavs... is there any way around this, or any way to make ACID recognize mp3s? thanks |

Nope. ACID is designed to work with Wave files that have been "acidized". You can't "acidize" and MP3 file - the special riff chunks used by ACID cannot be contained in an MP3 file. While it would be possible to read an MP3 file into ACID, it would have no tempo or pitch information, so none of the magic that ACID does would be possible.
