Subject:Why does Acid Music Take Up Too Much Room? Posted by: Jaime Date:4/22/2000 11:34:00 PM Why does Acid Music take up too much room on my drive when I record? Is there any way of getting it back after putting what I want on a CD? I tried deleting the recordings, and when I do; of course, the recording is gone, but I don't get any room back in megabytes. Do you know what I mean? Thanks

Reply by: ATP Date:4/25/2000 12:06:00 PM Ok...first of all, this is not an ACID problem, since the size of data depends on the format of the wave-file and not on the specific program you make the wave-files with. The only thing I can think of is this: You say you deleted the recordings after you've burned them to a CD...if you didn't Shift- Delete them, the files are still there, but stored in the Recycle Bin. Ok...first of all, this is not an ACID problem, since the size of
data depends on the format of the wave-file and not on the specific
program you make the wave-files with.

The only thing I can think of is this: You say you deleted the
recordings after you've burned them to a CD...if you didn't Shift-
Delete them, the files are still there, but stored in the Recycle
Bin. Clear it and the files will be really gone.
