when i record a new track it becomes a loop track automaticaly, filling up my RAM. when i first got acid music the recordings went directly to hard drive tracks. did i some how do something to change the default? this causes a problem as: after i record a track it is a loop track, then i have to change it to a hard drive track. but the track leaves parts in RAM filing the RAM up. so, i have 20 tracks that are assigned to HD, but are filling up my RAM leaving no RAM for tracks that need it(loops & 1 shot). can someone explain what is going on here? thanks. |

Hello. That's how Acid works, it's not really a multitrack recording program. If you have some time, you could check out the Vegas Pro demo. It's available in the Downloads section, that may be a better tool for the recordings you would like to create on your system. Thanks. ryanw wrote: >>when i record a new track it becomes a loop track >>automaticaly, filling up my RAM. when i first got acid >>music the recordings went directly to hard drive tracks. >>did i some how do something to change the default? this >>causes a problem as: after i record a track it is a loop >>track, then i have to change it to a hard drive track. but >>the track leaves parts in RAM filing the RAM up. so, i have >>20 tracks that are assigned to HD, but are filling up my >>RAM leaving no RAM for tracks that need it(loops & 1 shot). >>can someone explain what is going on here? thanks. |
