I often use Direct X plugins (i.e., Acoustic Mirror, XFX1 Reverb & Multitap delay) in the effects buses of ACID. Still, I have the problem with the delay "hangover" that occurs after the loop ends. The reverb is only in effect during the "painted" loop, but when the loop stops, the reverb just cuts off abruptly. Does anyone know how you can make delay effects continue beyond be loop-ends? Thanks, SA |

My acid with effects works exactly as you want it to work and I have'nt done anythign special. The thing though that I have noticed is that, if you press STOP while listening the effects stops, but if you listen to the whole thing the effect is still sounding after the loop. /Lars |

Hi Scott- Reverb tails being cut off at loop points and the end of songs is a known issue with ACID 2.0, which we'll be looking to fix for the next major release. Unfortunately, the workaround isn't entirely easy. One thing I can think of offhand is to multi-select all of the events within the loop, and repeat paste them out, adding a dummy wav file with silence, and leaving enough time at the end for the tails to fade out naturally. I hope this helps, Joel Scott Adams wrote: >>I often use Direct X plugins (i.e., Acoustic Mirror, XFX1 >>Reverb & Multitap delay) in the effects buses of ACID. >>Still, I have the problem with the delay "hangover" that >>occurs after the loop ends.
