I do video editing and a client asked me to film him doing a song and wanted to know if I could add accompanyment through Acid Music. (Strangely, I used to be a musician. I can read, write and arrainge). I can digitize the video in my computer and seperate out the wave file. Can I bring this into Acid, acidize it and add bass, percussion, ect? Can I add different chord progressions? IE; specific progressions I, IV, V or I, IIIm, IV, V? I s Acid that advanced? Thanks for your time. Regards, Gary |

Hello Gary. Acid is a loop based music creation program, and it does use .WAV files. As for Chord Progressions, you would have to play these on keyboard and manually record that, Acid has no functions for changing the chord itself. It will allow you to change the pitch/tempo of the loops themselves. Thanks!
