Hi. Some of my samples (in Cool Edit 2k and Sound Forge 4.5) made at 120 BPM show up in ACID as 450 BPM. As a result, the samples sound slow and distorted. I know the upper and lower BPM limits of the program, but wonder: 1. can I "convert" my sample? (Acidizing made no difference), or 2. disable the "Change Loop Tempo" available when right-clicking in the properties box? Thanks for any and all help! jc |

In sound forge, I believe you can actually put the BPM into a dialog that saves it as part of the 'acidization' process. I did this once and it worked. John Carmody wrote: >>Hi.
