Subject:recording to wa v or mp3 Posted by: Skipworth Date:9/20/2000 1:02:00 AM How come when i record a mix of stereo and mono wav files in acid it comes out mono. I panned all of the mono tracks to the left and the stereo track is centered and should have at least come out stereo.. When I went to save as mp3 i made sure that i did'nt select the convert to mono selection.. How can I record to stereo.. Thanks

Maybe you could try saving it as a wave file first and then convert to mp3 using Sound Forge or a similar program. good luck. I would bring up an mp3 song which is in stereo and recorded my guitar on a mono track and panned it left and when i created the wav file only the left side came out on both sides.. Everything that Is supposed to be on the left speaker is coming out on both the left and right speakers for the finnal recording.. I cant figure it out.. Is anyone else having this problem?
