Subject:Strange waveform shifts?

Hey guys,

I am obviously doing something wrong, because I am get
an unsynchronized wave display. What I mean by this is
that if you look at the track editor, and wacth as the
scroll bar goes over the sound it is playing, the waveform
does not match. The waveform seems to be "earlier" than
what is actually played. So at the end of the wave it has
blank space, when in reality it is still playing the song.
This makes it very hard to do beatmatching properly.
I have noticed that this "shift" only occurs when I
insert a tempo change in the track. It seems as if the
time line changes, but the track doesn't stretch with it.
I am using Disk Based tracks that are stretched based on
BPM I have figured out. What am I doing wrong that is
causing the tracks to not readjust themselves according to
temp changes.

Thanks in advance!

I've just tried what you decribed and I get the same effect. However,
the audio file *does* stretch properly. It's the waveform that does
not change accordingly. So, the problem is not so much stretching as
it is the adjusting of the visual waveform in the track editor. I
don't think you're doing something wrong, ACID is simply not doing it
right. I'm afraid you'll just have to work around it.
