If I were to publish a song that I recorded and mixed using
the default loops provided by the ACID software, are there
any royalties that I should be aware of?

There are not any royalties associated with the use of the Acid loops
in the context of a song. However you cannot redistruibute them as
individual loops. Hope this clears things up for you.
