hey all. a long while back i posted a problem i was having: acid was assigning wack bpms to loops i'd created in other software, recorded live, or edited in soundforge. fiddling with the number and location of beats wasn't helping any ... as i've noticed lots of others have this problem too, i thought i'd post my solution. open acid and set it to the loop's bpm. open the loop, go to its properties (a tab at the bottom), and set it to play as a one-hit, then lay down a single loop. set your loop region to match the length of your loop, and optimise the loop's volume. then Save As mixed wav file, check the box for Save Loop Region Only. your newly saved loop will run smooth and perfect in Acid. hopefully someone finds this helpful. + stay tuned + -drummand bassey, uloleo sound orchestra |
