Greetings. I just picked up ACID 2.0 and trying to find out how to manipulate volume on individual tracks -- fade in/out, etc. I take it to be that blue line that runs thru some sample tracks, but don't know how to get there and can't find it in online tutorials. Thanks for any help with this... |

With the Draw or Select tool active, click on the Event you'd like to add an Envelope to, then right-click the Event and choose "Envelope" and then the preferred type, in your case, "Volume." From there, you can just add points by right-clicking the Envelope and choosing, "Add Point." Click and drag the points to achieve different volume levels. Double-click a point to put it precisely at 0 dB (no cutting or adding to the master level of volume). Remember that the master level for a Track is calculated *before* considering the Envelope. Say a Track is -9.0 dB. You add an Envelope to a particular Event on this Track and drag it up 2.0 dB. That means that the final volume for that part of the Track will end up being -7.0 dB.
