Subject:problematic compatbility with Acid and Layla?

Anyone else out there try to record tracks into acid with
their layla sound card? 99% of the time my computer will
freeze instantly. This is a huge problem for me and upon
contacting Layla they told me it could be my motherboard
and/or a whole slew of problems. Any one else have this
problem and get it fixed? well, help me out, eh?

I have been using a Gina Card with Acid and have not run into any
problems. I know the Asus K7M motherboard for Athlon processors had
problems with supporting Events devices. I've been using the Asus
K7V MB with an Athlon 700Mhz and haven't had a problem like I said.
I think there's some posts on Events website that tells about these
early problems.
