Using ACID Pro 2.0d, does anyone ever get the following (or
similar) error message (an illegal operation):

SFACID caused an exception 10H in module SFACID.EXE at

It has been driving me absolutely nuts. It happens while
I'm playing back certain projects. Sometimes, it happens
while I'm, say, drawing or painting in a project. Not good,
especially when I'm on a creative kick and forget to save,
because ACID completely crashes out. And that's a bummer,
because it completely kills my creative flow.

I've tried the following:

-Formatted and reinstalled entire system.
-Ctrl+Alt+Del and closed everything except "Explorer"
and "Systray."
-Tried various drivers for soundcard and video card.
-Tried different soundcards (AWE64 and SB Live!).
-Used "msconfig" to stop loading everything at bootup
(except, of course, the essentials for system operation).

For those interested in my setup:

PII 350 MHz running Windows 98SE
Gigabyte 6BXC motherboard (BIOS ver 3.0)
128 MB PC100 SDRAM
SB Live!
ATI Radeon 32MB DDR
Wacom PenPartner
Iomega Zip 100MB internal ATAPI/IDE
Creative 2x DVD-ROM (no hardware DVD decoder card installed)
Yamaha 8x8x24 CD-RW CRW8824EZ internal IDE
Logitech MouseMan Wheel Optical USB
Tech Solutions USB keyboard

With Acid you simply cannot do what you have inquired
about. Sorry for the bad news.
