I have had this error that keeps me from using acid no matter what i do. It happens when acid loads files from the hard drive or cd rom drive, also when i add real time effects. I will list the things that i have done: 1. Safe Mode. 2. Re-installing and updating all drivers. 3. formating hard drive and installing only ME and acid. 4. formatting hard drive and installing only 98 and acid. 5. taking out each memory DIMM and leaving one in. 6. disconnecting and uninstalling sound card. 7. downloading trial version from your website. 8. buying a new pentium III and mobo from k6-3 and mobo. 9. lowering graphics acceleration. 10. anything else you can think of, i have done it. I dont get this error anywhere else and everything else runs fine. anyone have similar error, any solution? thanks.. |

Hello Zarchary, I've had a similar error, but not with KERNEL32.DLL. (It was with SFACID.EXE.) Have you tried replacing the DLL itself via System File Checker? (Start>Run>type "sfc.exe" in the Open field) Usually, if a DLL is giving me problems, replacing it with the version on the Windows CD-ROM helps to clear it up.
