I know how to mix tracks. One track is part of a CD. This CD has words which I need to replace with other words. Another track is recorded from a microphone and has the words in the right place where I want it to sound-over the cd. I play these tracks at the same time but I need to mute out just the certain words on the CD I need to conquer this asap. Any advice? I know it's probly a simple thing. I've tried volume controls but doesn't work. Is there anywhere where you can say that you need one track's sounds to completely soundover the another track? Thanks I'm desperate!!!! |

Hi Rick, It sounds like you'll need something other than ACID to do that. (Vegas Audio, maybe?) Even then, it would be extremely difficult; an audio CD already has all the audio mixed together. You could manage to get the part of the audio that you want, but I'll bet it would be nowhere near the original sound. HTH, Iacobus http://www.acidplanet.com/Lounge/ArtistDetail.asp?
