I have a couple of Pioner CDJ-800 MK2s I'm working with and notice they are limited with 48 characters per field. My friend suggested when I save files with Sound Forge I clear out all of the ID3 fields and name the track the following way: Artist - Title (Remixer) Then he said it SHOULD scroll across my Pioneer screen yet my guide tells me I'm limited to only 48 characters. Anyway, just looking for advice about using or NOT using ID3 information when I save my MP3 tracks. I'm looking for the best choice as far as DJ equipment is concerned. Thoughts? Thanks.
