I would like to maximize the sound pressure like CDs sold generally. But after I compress the audio and enlarge the volume like CDs, some noise appears after however I use EQ and Limiter. If there is anybody who knows the solution to this type of noise, I appreciate your information. Thank you.

Increasing volume to "commerical" levels is a talent that requires practice.
The compression technique is a good start, but this will increase the levels inherant in the file, which includes the noise floor being raised. IF you're suffering from noise, chances are the noise was in theere in the first place, and should be treated prior to maxising levels.
"This type of noise" is pretty non-descript!

A quick&dirty way would be to normalise to RMS -6 (no higher) instead of peak normailisation

Thank you for the reply. I tried re-mixdown lowering the volume of those tracks which seemed to have clipping noise. and normalized the audio in the first step with sound forge. but still the noise occurs in the process of compressing. is there any advice?

Can you post an example of one of the noisy tracks? - I wouldn't be suprised if a little noise -reduction might help you..

Are you hearing this noise on the playback from the timeline or from a burned CD?

The reason I ask is, depending on your playback device and cpu, sometimes there is some noise if there are a lot of effects that does not show up in the final render.

I doubt you are hearing much quanitzation noise in the render unless:
a) it was present in the original source; and / or,
b) you are applying unusually high compression at deep levels.

To take Kenny's suggestion one step farther, could you post a clip of the source audio with no effects, the same clip with compression, and also post the compression settings you used. As alluded to, compression is a delicate operation, and too much is more of a turn-off than enhancement.

" source audio with no effects"

(Just to clarify - that's what I meant)
