I don't know if there's a problem going on over at the Cakewalk forums or Cakewalk's site, but I cannot get to their site. I do my net work on a Mac Powerbook G4, keeping my daw computer off the net as any good user should. Anyways, when I try and go to the Cake site http://www.cakewalk.com/ I get a message box that comes up saying I have to log into the site with my name and password, and that the password will be sent in the clear. I try that, and a blank page comes up saying no authentication authority or some such can be found. I'd never gotten this login box to come up before; that's not Cake's normal login procedure. Heck, I can't even browse their main site to check on any new products, let alone browse the forums. Could someone here give it a try and come back and tell me what's going on? |

Geoff: Thanks for trying and having success. As I said, I'd never had this happen; sometimes if Cake's server is bolloxed up I'll get a timeout notice from Safari (Apple's browser). Just tried right now and it's okay. Weird. Jack |
