SF 8.0d on Dell OptiPlex 330 with SATA CD burner. When attempting to burn fromSF it hangs displaying "Scanning for Devices" message. No problems burning from Nero. |

What OS are you using - I've seen such a problem on XP due to admin permissions issue. There is another idea - but I'll have to wait until a little later to post it |

I'm running XP. But it doesn't seem to matter if I'm running from an admin account or not. |

For anyone who comes across this problem, my fix was to disconnect my USB FreeAgent portable drive. |
