I'm using the demo for now and trying to decide if Audio Studio is right for my needs. Basically, what I want to do with it is record vocals that I can overdub onto WAV files of instrumental tracks I've created in Reason. But, I haven't seen any capability for recording multiple tracks in Audio Studio, or of merging or combining an audio track with a separate WAV file and then merging this into a stereo track. Or am I missing something? |

Sound Forge Audio Studio only handles a single stereo track. The full version of Sound Forge 9 handles multiple channels. Vegas and Acid are truly multitrack. Vegas and Acid Pro 6 allow recording of multiple tracks simultaneously. Lesser versions of Acid are multitrack but only allow recording of one track at a time, which is probablu sufficient for your needs. |
