I purchased SF 9 recently. 1) The last time I used it, the navigation bar toward the bottom of the screen didn't display, it was solid black. 2) How does one quickly remove a loop/region. I drag the markers around, but there seems to always be a loop or region displaying. 3) Once a region is selected, the delete button or delete from the menu doesn't delete the waveform region selected. I can crop, but not delete. Thanks tom Message last edited on7/14/2008 7:30:38 AM bytvolhein. |

You haven't filled in your system specs, so this will be a wild guess: I had a problem similar to your #1. See this thread: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=3&MessageID=521425 Message last edited on7/14/2008 9:00:12 AM bySteven Myers. |

Thanks, I updated my equipment info. FYI, the scroll bar came back without me doing anything. Tom |

One thing i do in all SONY applications is disable Windows theme support (Options / Preferences / General). That seems to clear up a lot of display problems. |

The easiest way i've found to remove a loop region is to press i and then o without moving the cursor inbetween. |

2) If you prefer the behavior of older versions without the persistent Loop Region, you can enable "Options->Preferences->Editing->Force loop bar to match selection". 3) "Process->Mute" (or Alt+P+M). If you wish, you can assign your own shortcut in Options->Customize Keyboard, though it will have to include the Alt or Ctrl key. Ctrl+Delete might be a good choice. J.
