Subject:Bits label in waveform display

Is there a way to display the number of 'bits' a sample is in the waveform display? I can only find a way to change the lable from % or dB. I use SF to analyze sound files for some electrical design work and this feature would be extremely useful.
Thanks,
Greg

Seems like it should be easy enough to figure out. If the file is 16 bits, then a peak at 50% is using 15 bits, at 25% it's using 14 bits, at 12.5% it's using 13 bits, at 6.25% it's using 12 bits, etc.

Yeah (@16 bit) 1bit loss for every 6db from 0dBFS
