Subject:Sony PCM-D50 low level files in SF8.

Hi all. I'm running a Sony PCM-D50 recorder at 16bit 48kHz and transferring the files into Soundforge 8.

Although the D50 meters read Ok, the resultant SF files are low level and lack lows and highs. Anything I might have overlooked in the SF setup?

If you're transferring the files digitally, ( USB, FW, S/PDIF or otherwise) what you have is what you will get in SF.
