MIDI files have no sound unto themselves. They are trigger files for sound sources. Play your MIDI file (which triggers a sound source)through SONAR or a similar sequencer and record the audio there. THEN move the resulting file into Sound Forge. |

You have not said which software you are using to create the MIDI music. That would be muy helpful. Anyway, MIDI is not audio. It is just a set of instructions for a hardware device -- which may be a music synthesizer or may be a system controlling explosives, you never know. So tell us how you're creating the MIDI music, and somebody here might be able to tell you how to make your music into an audio file, which Sound Forge demands. |
