The issue is: that same piece of software came with my upgrade to 8, and I really, really, really have no use for a 2nd copy. So I called in and asked the rep about the possibility of substituting another software title - even one of MUCH less value (like XFX 1 at $34.95) - but she wouldn't even consider it. You'd think that Sony might have anticipated this scenario and been ready to delight existing CD Architect-owning customers with some suitable substitute, instead of letting them down. My $.02. === p.s. Having said that, I will say that the upgrade offer including the Flash Drive and the Seminar Series Training DVD's is pretty sweet.
