Subject:acoustic mirror contacting home

Hello anyone reading this,
I'm using sound forge 7. Why is it that when opening a wave impulse file in acoustic mirror it will randomly start my web browser and bring up http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/? It's very annoying as I'm sure you can imagine, and totality unnecessary. Is there anything I can do to stop it?

I will happily provide my paypal account name to anyone suggesting an upgrade to sound forge 9 and will gladly accept the £100+ upgrade fee.

Options->Preferences->General->(Uncheck) Use net notify . . .

Thanks, but I already unchecked that some time ago but it didn't do the trick. By uncheck I mean the box is empty, no cross in in. Thought I should clarify that as using a cross to signify something is active seems a little back-to-front to me.

In AC, under Impulses>Browse, is a local drive selected or something with a http:?(external URL) Something to check .
