Subject:No FX after re-install

I had to re-formay my computer. When I reloaded sound forge audio studio 8 off of my disc it I have no fx now like the program is locked. Do I need a new product key or activation code. I also have vegas movie studio and dvd architect and they loaded without any problems. thx
