Subject:cross fades

I may be an idiot because I can't figure out in Sound Forge 9 how to select a region and drag it over another region, thus creating an automatic cross fade the way I do in CD Architect. Would someone plese point me in the right direction?

Fade the edges, Copy and Paste Mix.
