Is it just me, or does SF9 not default to a file's current format on save? Seems to me SF always used to save to the sample rate, bit-depth, and number of channels of the file as specified in the SF info windows. Now it defaults to the last used format. If this is a new "feature", there should be a switch to have it default to the old behavior. |

Without having SF available on this PC, as I recall SF saves as the same format that was last saved. Or go to the "File> Properties" dialog box and set the parameters there, and check the box " use this format for all new files... (or something to that effect) I'm sure someone can clarify this for our friend Angles? |

If you have selected or generated a specific template for the selected file format, that format and template will be selected on future Save As... Select the "Default Template" to match the project settings (or just use Save instead of Save As...). Once you've done this, you'll be back to the behavior you expect. J. |

Ahhhhh!! Many thanks :) On a subsequent save, is there any way to get it to default to, errr... default? Message last edited on3/10/2009 12:38:13 PM byAngels. |
