I want to add a piece of music in the beginning and in the end of an audio class I recorded. I optimized all three files, added fade in, added fade out - cool! The problem then is when I want to assemble the final pieces together! It coverts the speaking to a fast speed to where I sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks! How do I stop that from happening! Please help! |

Make sure the sample rates all match. If your speaking is recorded at 22KHz and you paste it into a 44KHz file, it will end up playing twice as fast. Resample the speaking file to match the sample rate of the file you're pasting it into before you copy & paste. |

Okay, I did what you suggested I guess I wasn't clear in what I wanted to do. I DONT want either piece to change speed- I want the music to remain fast and the talking to sound normal speed. Help! Thank you! |

Re-sampling via "Process> Resample" DOES NOT change playback speed. Re-sampling via "File> Properties> Format" DOES change playback speed. |
