Subject:exported files extremely large

Please help!
i'm using acid pro2, I recently exported one of my projects
so as to burn on cd so it can be used in another
application but when i exported these files to my suprise i
found that all the individual tracks had been saved but
were all 58.957kb in size and the hole song was 1.40gb even
though only 5 mins long and all the tracks were the same
size even though all different lengths in the actual song.
Tried in vain to sort it out (pulling my hair out more like
it) so if any one has experienced the same problems or has
a solution, your comments would be most welcome.
Most propably its so obvious but i cant see it.
