Subject:Syncing Acid Pro with Logiac audio platunum 4.6 PC

Subject says it all! How do I pull this off on one PC? I have installed the virtual midi device, but nothing happens. I hit play in LAW, and nothing in Acid. I hit play in Acid, and get the error "device already in use". Must be the soundcard? Also, when hitting "chase midi" in Acid, I get the error "The device specified is in use". Can someone walk me through this step by step? Ideally I want to control Acid from Logic, and I want Acid to take the tempo I set in Logic if possible. Can it be done? Thanks in advance, Frode Berg |

Hi What type of soundcard and midi interface are you using? I stooped using Logic along time ago, so I can't tell you how to set it up but if you have audio playing back on Logic and you are trying to play loops off of Acid you need two sound cards unless Logic is running in ASIO, just assn. Logic audio to 1&2 and Acid to 3&4. I use Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.03 but only as a sequencer I disabled the audio. Sorry this is off the top of my head hope this helps George Ware |
