Subject:Sync to Tape Recorder

I have acid that has sync. Want to have it sync with my
recorder. I have a yamaha ymc10 converter. I placed a sync
tone on my 8th track. Hooked up the midi cables to my
computer & ycm10. played back tone in to the ymc10 coverter
but acid is not syncing. I told acid to chase mtc code, but
no luck.

Is there anything else I need to do?

Not certain of your exact set-up... You do need to go into
Options> Preferences > Sync Tab and select your MIDI source
path.

acid doesn't seem to like chasing timecode, so make it the
master. also, you might try generating midi clock out from
acid instead of mtc (one works better than the other but I
can't remember which, sorry). good luck

I don't believe the YMC10 generated MTC but rather MIDI
Clock. ACID can only slave to MTC.
