At some point along the way--perhaps after an online upgrade?--I lost the option to store my wav files in the "generic" way that I used to, and now, the only choice for storing a wav file is by clicking "Scott Studios Wav" or something like that. then they ask me for all kinds of information that I don't understand, but I do put in the name of the file. The problem is, after I store it, the name never shows up. It gets stored as "SP0000.WAV" and I have to wait until it is stored, check to make sure that it is indeed the file that I jsut created, and then rename it. There has got to be a better way of doing this. Can you please tell me what this better way is? Also, what happened to the old WAV file option? I was used to it, and I miss it. |

Still there - choose "Wave (Microsoft) (*.wav)" instead of the "Scott Studios Wave (*.wav)". At some point you must have selected the Scott one by accident, and this now pops up as the default file format. Go back to the other and that'll be the first choice next time (SF remembers....) geoff |
