i have a unique situation where we recorded a music video in a theater that we rented. we found out at the VERY end of the shoot that the whole day the theater had been using a DJ CD deck, which was set to play the song 1.6 x faster than it was recorded. for the artist that is not a problem but i need to speed up the song. SInce Sound Forge works with percentages, how do i calculate the percentage that i should speed the song? thanks math-letes! |

100 x1/1.6=62.5% BTW 1.6 x faster is a huge speed difference; I'm surprised the artist did not notice on the day! Message last edited on8/15/2009 8:49:26 AM byChristoC. |
