Subject:Acid Music newbie

Running Acid 2.0 Music. 2 Problems.
1. Cannot find stretching tool.
2. Cannot figure out how to cause an event, say a snare
hit, to repeat faster without changing the tempo. Several
of the examples have instances of this, where the bass will
go along at a normal beat for a couple measures, then
double in speed for a short while, then go back to
normal,but I cannot find anything on this. If anyone can
help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot do these two things because Acid Music is not
capable of such. Time stretching and event envelopes are
exclusive to Acid Pro, the next step up. Sorry.
